Intensify App Review: Powerful Image Editor For Mac OS

Make one-click adjustments or dive into greater detail with highly impressive results

Very few photos require zero adjustments to make the most of the moment or subject they have captured, and Intensify is designed to give you all of the tools you need to make changes.

The sheer number of adjustments you can make is intimidating at first, but if you take some time to understand the effect each one will have on your images then you will be rewarded with some very impressive results.

The interface is designed around the photo you are manipulating at the time, and this means that you are always aware of what is happening. Changes are visible in real-time and there are features that almost take your breath away. When you change a setting such as the contrast and you see areas that were previously not visible due to bright conditions, you can immediately start to appreciate the way this software has been built. There is a learning curve involved and some knowledge of how your adjustments will affect the photos will be useful, but if you are in a hurry you can still use the built-in presets for one-click manipulation of the entire image. Even then, you can adjust every aspect of the preset and, in our experience, the more we used the app, the more useful features we found.

Intensify App Review

It does not matter what type of user you are. Serious photographers will appreciate the RAW file support and the adjustable brush for fine tuning, and novices will be able to explore without ever feeling intimidated. Some may feel that the price is high, and while it is true that it resides in an extremely crowded genre, the stability of the software and its ability to truly surprise make it easily worth the asking price.

The developer has cleverly managed to bring advanced photo manipulation to the masses and given us all the opportunity to make our photos truly stand out. The only potential downside is that it is almost too easy to make dramatic changes, and so some consideration will need to be given to ensure each photo retains realism. Finally, you can also export your creations to iPhoto, Photoshop and the most popular social networks. This is a superb example of a photography app created with imagination.
